I purchased the 2006 version of this stroller less than one year ago. Overall, I love the design of the stroller (i.e., its built-in weather shield, the lightweight construction). It is great for covering long distances (we have run a number of half marathons with it). However, the material on the 2006 version is not very durable; though our 5 year old son has not yet reached the 50 pound weight limit, we have had to replace the seat twice (in less than a year), as both times it began tearing along the bottom of the seat at the frame. This has been a huge disappointment to me, as I really love everything else about the stroller (though it could use a deeper cupholder; even sippy cups easily bounce out of the cupholder).
