Regret the purchase
By Theresa from CA on 7/18/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Durable
Cons:
Bulky, Cumbersome, Hard to collapse, Heavy
Best Uses:
Infants, Short Trips
Describe Yourself:
Mother of four
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have four kids, three of them under the age of three. Bought the stroller because it seemed great at the store. I use it often out of necessity to walk my eldest to school. My 1 1/2 year old sits in front and my 5 month old is in the back in her carseat. Stroller is very hard to steer, even on a straight sidewalk. My Mom won't ever try to use it again! It usually takes a couple of tries to collapse it. It is very heavy putting in and out of my Suburban (and I have the bruises to prove it!) Parent tray often snaps off when collapsing the stroller. Adjustable straps are very hard to adjust. Would not have bought it had I read the reviews first!

Does not steer!
By afarnswo from Phoenix, Arizona on 6/18/2007
Pros:
Comfortable, Easy to Set Up, Sturdy
Cons:
Bulky, Cumbersome
Best Uses:
Infants, Toddlers
Describe Yourself:
Parent of Twins, Parent of Two or More Children
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Okay, I tried this out at the store with my almost 2 year old daughter when I was expecting twins. I put her in both seats and strolled her around for a bit and didn't seem to remember it being so difficult to steer! After buying it and using it with my twins (with and without the carseats) I find myself avoiding places that would require me to use the stroller because it is so hard to turn. Basically, the front wheels do not swivel. I usually have to slide the back end from side to side when trying to change directions and maneuver around even a fairly wide open space. Maybe it's just my stroller, but I come home needing a shoulder massage after pushing this one around the mall. I also wasn't happy with the way it folds up. When I store it in my car, the parent tray near the handle always pops off and is not very easy to reattach. The bottom storage bin always drags on the ground when the stroller is folded up unless it is completely snapped together (which isn't often since the opening for putting stuff under there is so small that I have to unsnap it to get anything in or out). It also does not stand very well in folded position. It topples down very easily unless I lean it against the wall with the wheel locks on. Also, in order to lock it closed in folded position, I have to squeeze it tightly together and force the little plastic holder over the bolt before it is completely folded up. All together, it hasn't been a good experience for me owning this stroller. On the plus side, the stroller seems pretty comfortable for my kids when they are in it without the carseats. The reclining back seat is nice when one of them is sleeping and the pads are pretty soft for them. And I like the fact that the front seat can turn to face the rear. This is helpful when my twins are in there. They can talk and play with each other. I also like that it has two shades and the front one can be pulled all the way down in the front. But those benefits don't outweigh the hassles for me to recommend this stroller. Sorry.

steering is horrible
By Malcolm from Minnesota on 2/28/2007

We thought having a baby and with another one on the way that this would be the perfect stroller! We thought what a cool idea being able to turn the front seat backwards so the kids could face one another. We finally had our second child and so excited we loaded them up to find out that this stroller was horrible!!! I mean horrible!!!!! You cannot even stear it. It is heavy to push straight and to turn it is impossible. I would never advise this stroller. We are now stuck with a stroller we paid $150 for and still need to purchas another one. When you have 2 children there is not the money for this kind of situation.

Not sure yet
By Kara from Rochester, NY on 2/27/2007

I'm not sure about this stroller just yet. We haven't put it to use yet. Our twin girls are just 6 months old and still need a bit more support. When I finally got it unpacked and assembled, I was surprised at the size of it. It is quite large. I mean, I knew that it was heavy, all tandem strollers are, but its huge. If you take the canopies off it is a little less imposing. Despite its size, it seems to be functional and it steers well. I really like that the front seat can face front of back. That is the main reason I purchased this stroller. We have a minivan, so it will fit in the vehicle, but don't think that you will be able to fit it in a sedan. Hope this helps.
