This was a holiday gift for my almost 7 year old daughter for her American Girl paraphanelia. She has 2 dolls, tons of clothes and related shoes and accessories. This fit about 8 full outfits...but with different hangers, the 2 that come with the armoire are beautiful but too bulky.
I was almost expecting thin particle board and flimsy hinges, but because of the Melissa & Doug name I was a little more optimistic...and pleasantly surprised! This is EXTREMELY sturdy and well made, the hinges are pretty but sturdy, and this isn't a piece you'll toss out in a year or two...you'll want to pass it along to someone else to enjoy :)
I've seen other doll armoires when we went to the NYC store and would definately say the quality is as high as theirs, but for about 1/3 of the price. I don't mind spending money on quality items, but frankly my daughter was content with all the clothes in a big shoe box...this fits in with her room decor, is sturdier, and she actually takes better care of the clothes and accessories now that they have a "place to go". I'm almost tempted to purchase a 2nd to handle the overflow!

I PURCHASED THIS ARMOIRE LAST YEAR FOR MY OLDEST GRANDDAUGHTER. THIS YEAR ANOTHER DAUGHTER REQUESTED IT FOR HER YOUNGEST DAUGHTER. IT IS OF THE FINEST QUALITY AND IS A BEAUTIFUL ADDITION TO MY GRANDDAUGHTER'S BEDROOM SUITE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ARMOIRE. I AM A BIG FAN OF MELISSA AND DOUG ITEMS!

The armoire is so cute and well made. I do wish it was a little deeper and taller. I didn't realize it was so small. I do wish they would have given more hangers. Finding hangers to fit the piece of furniture has been difficult. Maybe they could offer more hangers to be sold seperately.
This darling armoire was everything we'd hoped it would be. It fits our daughter's dolls' clothes very well (including doll clothes hangers from other products) and is a pretty addition to her bedroom.
The Melissa and Doug armoire is a good quality product for the price. My daughter uses it for her American Girl doll clothes. I only wish it came with more hangers.

This Melissa and Doug Armoire is perfect to hold some of my daughters American Girl doll clothing. The quality is outstanding. It is worth every penny. The drawers are a bit small, so don't plan on putting much in there, but it's a very sweet piece.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 7 year old granddaughters birthday since she just loves her American Girl doll so much. She has already got it filled and is asking for the matching bed and for another armoire for Christmas! What more can I say other than it was the best $50 I have spent in a long, long while. This is really a very top notch and well constructed piece of furnature which I am sure will withstand children playing with it. Keep up the great job!!

My goddaughter received an American Girl doll for xmas and I had been looking all over for furniture to go with it. I was skeptical about purchasing the armoire and bed as both had what I felt were affordable prices. I was thrilled, however, when I received both items and found them very well made! My goddaughter loves them and I didn't have to spend a huge amount of money! What a deal!
Regarding website, images and product display: Great! No Complaints. As a matter of fact, your website was very easy to use, the image provided of the product desription matched the product purchased, and the product image itself that was displayed was the product purchased. Your site had everything perfect! That takes a lot of work and a lot of quality assurance in place.
Regarding the product itself, the product is everything and more than I actually had hoped for! I had seen armoires sold that were kinda big and bulky and much more expensive, as much as 3 times to even 8 times as expensive as this beautiful item. This item is definitely age appropriate and the quality that the team of Melissa and Doug put out is awesome.
My daughter absolutly loves the armoire,it fits all the dolls clothes and accesories. I would highly reccomend this product,especially because it is all put together for you.
We ordered this item with the doll bed to match for our daughter to use with her American Girl Doll. It's a perfect fit, great quality, very sturdy and a lot cheaper than the American Girl furniture.
My daughter enjoys folding and putting her dolls clothes away in this armoire. It's very well built and so cute! We only wish it came with more than 2 hangers.
My daughter was thrilled with this armoire! It is fairly large and really holds quite a bit. She hung up 2 or 3 American Girl doll outfits and placed shoes and other items in the drawers. There is still quite a bit of room left for new outfits! It is very sturdy and a timeless style. She also received the matching white bed and it all looks cute together. Just perfect for any 18" doll and much more affordable than the beautiful but pricey furniture from other sources. We have several toys from Melissa and Doug and their quality is always great!
