We like this chair a lot. It arrived well packaged, was VERY easy to put together and works great for feedings & late night rocking of our newborn. It is pretty comfortable also. The only downside is that I expect the seat cushion to need to be replaced sooner than anything else - it's a bit thin & nothing like the padding for your back, which is great.

This chair is great for the price. I wasn't expecting it to be very comfortable for the price I was paying and was pleasantly surprised. It looks great in my nursery and is getting a lot of use! It is a compact chair, which is nice for smaller spaces. I am 5'8" and fit comfortably nursing my baby in the chair. The cushions can be flipped over and completely removed for cleaning. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

I am very excited to use my new glider. The baby is on the way so we haven't used it yet. From just sitting in it a couple of times it seems comfortable and looks great. It was easy to put together. I hope it is great once we put it to the real test.

Looks nice, feels nice. Creaks a little right out of the box, but we are hoping it will go away. Can't be used without the seat cushion because there are just springs and cloth under the cushion. There is no wooden seat as you would expect with a typical chair.

May need to add an extra pillow if I have to sit for long periods, but otherwise a very comfortable, beautiful chair and ottoman. Super easy to put together! I did it by myself in about 20 minutes at 6 months pregnant.

I bought this product to have a rocking chair in my nursey to assit with feeding time and general bonding. I also wanted a chair that could be moved to the living room in the future that would match the rest of my home decore and not look little-kid. While baby has not yet arrived, I already am enjoying relaxing it. I am a rather short person (5'2") and have a difficult time finding chairs that are low enough to be comfortable. Not only was I able to order a chair that is low enough to allow my feet to touch the ground (flat-footed!), but the seat length hits the back of my legs in the correct spot. The rocker was very light weight and incredibly easy to assemble (I did it myself at 8 months). My only remaining concern is cleaning the fabric which I have not had reason to do yet.

The cherry color looks high end and has a really nice finish, which matches perfectly with the other cherry furniture in the roomn. It looks very nice and stylish. I wish the seat had a little thicker cushion, but it's not that big a deal and still feels comfortable. I really like it, especially at this price compared to other ones we saw that were higher priced and not as nice looking.

This is a good glider for the price but not as comfy as the pricier high-end rockers (you get what you pay for). I still like it. The finish is beautiful and it was very easy to assemble. So far it rocks smooth. My only concern is that the seat cushion is a little thin and may require extra padding for a long feeding session. The fabric smelled heavily like the factory and needed some time to breath but no big deal.

I got this to rock my newborn baby in. [...] was easy to put together. It is a good deal for the price. It looks just like the picture and matches the cherry furniture we have perfectly. It looks like a nice quality. I have had no squeaking problems so far. My husband did mention he felt the seat cushion was a little thin. This chair is average in comfort, there are more comfortable chairs out there, but they are double the price which I didn't want to spend. I feel that this is a good deal for the price and what you get.

I bought this for my daughter's nursery which I will use on occasion. Real nice chair. Glides smoothly and quietly. Easy assembly. Great value. The only thing I would change is the seat cushion is a little thin and uncomfortable. It should be more like the back cushion.

Best Uses:
Infant Care

Bottom Line:

Easy to assemble and looks great. I thought the seat would have more padding, but it is comfortable. We use it in the new baby's nursery for feedings and relaxing. There was a petroleum smell from the chair the first few days it was here, but it has disapated. I think it was the padding in the seat cushion. Overall, it is a decent chair that so far has not creaked or made unusual noises. It glides smoothly and is what we needed. You can spend a lot more for a glider, but I don't think the benefits would outweigh the extra cost. I would not hesitate to buy the chair again if I needed one.

I really like this glider for the cost. I haven't really used it much yet as my first child is on it's way but, not here yet. It will need to be broken in (seems a little stiff now) but, I'm sure it will be broken in soon and looks great in the nursery!

Pros:
Price
Cons:
Uncomfortable cheap
Best Uses:
Infant Care
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The product [...] EZ to put together; however, it was uncomfortable, yet it does glide but remember you get what you pay for. Wonder why people pay [$] or more for a glider? Because of quality. Basically this chair falls far below expectations in terms of ergonomics, the back does NOT recline, the ottoman does not really glide, it has a Roll to it. Don't cut corners - buy quality not just price. Basic idea here is if it weighs much less - There's a reason for that!

Bottom Line:

This looked like it would be perfect for my daughters nursery and at a great price for the short time that it would be used-I was WRONG! This is so uncomfortable something about the incline of the back kills your lower back (and I have never had back problems),so much so that I can't even use it in the nursery. If you are thinking of buying this for a nursery where you will be rocking in it for long periods of time-think again. I am 5'4 and my husband is 6'0 and we both found it to be uncomfortable on lower back so height has nothing to do with it.
Do yourself a favor and DON'T BUY THIS CHAIR!!!!!!!!!!

This really is a great chair for the price. One thing to note though is the chair is small. It's probably best suited for someone petite. It is also fairly upright, so not somewhere where you would take a nap. I am going to use it for nursing and just sitting in baby's room, so I think it will be prefect. It was also very easy to assemble.

I am a self-proclaimed ultimate comparison shopper. And this chair is by far the BEST VALUE for your money! It was very easy to assemble. The only thing that concerns me is the quality of the pillows. I haven't used the chair that much (Baby is due in a couple days) but it seems the pillows could be a little fluffier. It's a quick fix, just need to add my own support pillows when it comes to that point. OTherwise I would HIGHLY Recommend this chair to any new/expecting mom.

A Great Glider

My mother spends most of her time seated in the glider, so that sturdiness is important; only the test of time will attest as to this having been a good choice. In the mean time, it is a very nice piece of furniture that everyone has complimented, and that my mom claims to be the most comfortable glider she has ever owned.

Ottoman & Glider
By Mrs Gunjal from NY on 5/23/2007

The Ottoman and Glider is the best thing I have purchased. I was looking to get a recliner one which was too expensive. I think this product is worth its money. I would definitely recommend it. It is comfortable and great looking product. The best thing was it matched perfectly with my Crib and the changing table.

Great deal for the price
By Kelly from Clarkston, MI on 2/7/2007

The furniture arrived packed well and with no damage. It was very easy to put together. The chair and ottoman glide nicely although I haven't tested it out with the baby - she's yet to arrive.

I'd say the only downside is that the seat cushion feels a bit cheap, and the back cushion is already getting compressed near the bottom from the little bit we've sat in it. Also, I thought the covers came off to allow for washing but really the cushions just remove from the chair, the covers are sewn on. It it still more convenient that chairs that don't let you remove anything.

Overall - a great chair for a great price. The couple of negatives don't take away from the overall value. Can't beat getting two pieces for less than the price of most gliders.
