About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. This is a great dresser changing table combo. If you a have small space and can't have 2 seperate furniture items it is perfect. It matches perfect with the "Emily" crib as well.
Great product. Extremely sturdy. Recently purchased and assembled. The only thing is the instructions are a little off, but isnt too hard to figure out. Took a couple hours to put together, probably would have been shorter if the manufacturers werent smoking crack. But all in all a great product. Great cherry finish and not too bulky.

My husband and I bought this dresser along with the matching crib for our baby girl. The color is rich and it's definitely a set that our daughter will grow in to. I only wish that the drawers to the dresser were a little sturdier when you slide them in and out.

I was very pleased with how the dresser looked after it was assembled. It took two hours to put together. It is a nice complement to the matching crib. Will get the hutch when our son is a little older.[...]
Two pieces were purchased; a crib and dresser. Both were in "cherry" but they are no where close in matching. [...]

My husband put it together and it took him no time. It is sturdy and we won't hesitate to put our little one on it.
