About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. We needed extra storage in the nursery because the room is small. The dresser is very sturdy and holds a large amount of clothes and baby supplies. However, the directions for assembly were a little confusing. We had everything together when we realized it was upside down and the bars for the drawers were in backward. However, once we figured that part out, everything came together well. One of the drawers sticks a little, but it's nothing some WD40 can't fix. Overall, a good dresser.

STURDY CONSTRUCTION, EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, PACKAGED WELL TO PROTECT THE PRODUCT DURING SHIPPING. USE FOR MY GRANDSON'S WARDROBE. DRAWER CAPACITY IS VERY ROOMY.
