We have been set on black furniture for our baby and had purchased the Simplicity Ellis crib in black several months ago. We did not realize at the time that Simplicity does not make the Ellis bureau in black and, by the time we realized this, had fallen in love with the crib. I looked for weeks for high-quality, distressed black (with wood color, not red, showing through in the distressed parts) furniture to match the crib and stumbled upon this. [...] The Child Craft furniture is a perfect match, and our little boy's room is really coming together.The quality of this furniture cannot be surpassed -- it is sturdy, well made, and very durable. We're planning on it lasting through two kids and following the second one out of the nursery, and I have no doubt that it will last to do that. This is definitely not exclusively nursery furniture ... it is really attractive and could even be used into adulthood.
