We used the portable playard tent to cover the pack-n-play with the bassinet insert in place. Once assembled, it was very sturdy, but it was tough getting the poles into the sleeves initially. The main problem is that we couldn't attach the playard to the bassinet with the clips it came with, because they were too small to go over the edge of the playard AND the bassinet insert. We ended up just setting the tent on top of the playard, and this was fine since the baby wasn't moving around much. We plan to use it this summer as the "cabana" when we go visit grammy at the beach!

This has been a life-saver. My son refused to sleep in his crib, so his pack-n-play became his "new" crib. This became a problem when he was eventually able to climb out. This device has been wonderful for naps and bedtime. Now I know he is safely in there and not climbing out and wandering all over the house at night. He actually likes it at nap time and falls asleep after throwing a soft ball up against the netting and catching it.

I had ordered this as a gift (baby shower) for a future niece who has yet to be born as I write this; thus the 3 rating since it's not proven if it's really helpful or really not helpful. But I chose to buy this item from the seller due to its reputation as a good seller. The intent of the purchase was to have a safe receptacle that can keep the family cat from clawing her.
