Strong construction, nice sturdy gate. Need to get exact size for bars. Size is not user friendly. Would recommend safety 1st, on recall right now for hinge problem. It has been pulled from the web site at this time due to the recall.\nThis gate is not easy to put up by yourself. Leaves marks on the wall and holes from the screws.\nOnce it is up, in the correct size with the appropriate bars, then I would say it is a nice strong gate that closes by itself.\nI chose this gate since it is metal and I believed it was a true pressure gate, it is a pressure gate but you have to mount the cups to the wall.\nnot sure if I would recomend this gate-proboly not
