With the success of his original idea Owen Maclaren decided to go into production and make his Baby Buggy available to the public in 1967. Soon production grew to nearly 600,000 Baby buggies, of which 280,000 were shipped over seas. The Maclaren business was growing fast and showed no sign of stopping, with new products coming out every year. Sadly, Owen Maclaren passed away in 1978, but not without leaving behind a great legacy and an amazing line of baby products. Despite the loss of its founder Maclaren continues to set the industry standards for innovation and safety of baby products.

Works well with our Maclaren and interchanges easily with our Phil and Ted's. As we use it for both strollers, it would be helpful to have velcro ties instead of having to tie the ties. Also, it is not wide enough at the top for it to fully cover my 2 year old. The zipper only zips up to his waist and it would be helpful to have him fully covered - that was my intention in buying this footmuff...

I am very pleased with this product. It is easy to attach to the stroller and remove when necessary. It keeps my baby warm and is very comfortable! Thanks to this footmuff I no longer have to worry about taking several blankets along to keep him warm, which he would always find a way of kicking off. This zips around him comfortably and snug! Not to mention how nicely it matches my Maclaren stroller! It is durable and will last for many winters to come!

Very easy to install and to take out when not needed. It protects my daughter and keeps her warm especially now that she is active and moves her feet around (the blanket kept falling off). Even when she comes back from the Park with sandy/muddy shoes I can take the shoes off and stick them under the stroller rather than getting the footmuff all dirty. Her feet stay nice and warm all wrapped up inside the footmuff until we get home.
