We actually already owned one toy chest for our 1st daughter. We liked it so much that we decided to buy the same exact one for our 2nd daughter who will be born very soon. It matches the rest of the furniture very well, It has a beautiful cherry finish and nice wood. It is a very safe chest because the top closes slowly, and there is no way to have fingers pinched thanks to a space. There is plenty of room in it for toys. The top can be used as a bench. It is very easy to put together, I did it alone with no problem, the instructions are very clear.

This is a truly beautiful piece that we hope will last for a long time in our family. We bought this for our daughter who will be born in two weeks. This is a piece that will grow with her. The only problem was while we were putting it together the screw plate located underneath the lid came completely off. We had to drill two new holes, but it seems very sturdy now. I would definitely reccomend this to a friend.

I am so glad that we bought this toy box. It fits a lot of toys, and it looks really nice with our other furniture--not too childish, so we keep it in our living room. Putting it together was a little difficult for me, but my husband finished the job without a problem.

I bought this for my 16 month old daughter. [...]my husband set it up while I was out grocery shopping. I can't personally attest to how difficult it was, but he said it was hard to put together, and he probably should have waited to do it with me, and extra set of hands would have helped. Once it was together though, I fell in love with it. It has a beautiful finish, and the styling is simple and classy. My daughter will be able to use it well after its use as a toybox is over. As a toybox, its excellent. The lid is easy for my daughter to open, and it stays open until she pulls it shut, regardless of how much or how little she has opened it. There is cutout in front so that she can't pinch her fingers either. The side has cut outs so you can get a good grip when moving it, and wheels so its easy to move. It has plenty of room for even really big bulky toys. And it seems sturdy enough to withstand use as a seat on a regular basis. The railing is rock solid. All in all, I am very pleased with it.

This is a very nice toy box, looks great in any room. Made of good quality. Only con is that you need two people to assemble and it can take a while.
