Our team of talented designers, artists and business people is led by Catherine and Steve Granville. After the birth of their son, Kai, Steve and Catherine were appalled by the brands and uninspired designs they encountered as new parents. Some of the “cool” products they found didn’t work very well, so they decided to see if they could build a product that made them feel good and functioned extremely well.
This inspiration led to the birth of the MotherShip in 2002. The birth of their second child, Margot, in 2004 brought a whole new level of insight into the needs of parents. Through good design and rigorous testing, they are committed to continuing to solve problems that parents encounter every day.

This is a great bag and was well worth the money spent. It's just the right size for all of my baby's things and has enough pockets for all of my stuff too. The style makes it easy to carry while chasing after a toddler! I especially like having the wipes and diaper pocket on the outside, so I can easily get to them when needed.
