Are they made of real wood?
Other than the metal hardware, it is entirely made of wood… beautiful wood! Solid oak is used for the corner posts. Oak veneered panels are trimmed with solid oak edge banding. Under the oak veneer is furniture grade veneer core. We do NOT use MDF or particle board. Our toyboxes are 100% real wood!
What kind of finish does the oak box have?
The oak toyboxes are lightly stained with a warm amber color. The finish would be best described as a natural oak finish. Just enough stain is used to bring out the beautiful oak grain. The toyboxes are only available in the one stain color. The topcoat is a clear satin finish.
Is the toybox safe?
We have designed this toybox to be safe! We use double lid supports which are positioned in the center of the toybox. The toybox lid does not slam down when lifted up. Whatever the lid position, it does NOT drop.
Is the toybox guaranteed?
Yes, Dream Toybox provides a 60 day no fuss, no questions asked guarantee on all toyboxes. In other words, if anything is not right with the toybox they will make it right with replacement parts, or a refund will be given. Hinges and lid supports have a lifetime guarantee. If they break for any reason they will be replaced at no charge.
Is assembly required?
Yes, the classic oak box is ready to assemble and requires a regular and Phillips screwdriver and only about 15 minutes of your time. Included are easy to read instructions with photos.

The product was well made and beautiful to view.
It was fun assembling it with our son for our 11 months old granddaughter. She then had a good time getting in the chest providing us with some really good photos. This piece of furniture is attractive and will be utilized for a lifetime.

The product arrived on time prior to Christmas. There was no damage to the product.
