Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

The mini crib is great! It is really cute and fits perfectly in a small apartment. It slides though the door easily letting baby and parents be in different rooms when wanted.

I absolutely LOVE this crib! I am short on space and just couldnt find a way to fit a full size crib in my room, and most portable/mini cribs are just to portable looking. This crib is so great, it is substantial looking, and sturdy and very good quality, but still small enough for my room. It was super easy to put together and the instructions were very easy to follow, i had my little brother help me and it took us about 20 minutes. I would recommend paying the extra and getting the coil mattress, i feel more comfortable with my baby on that , rather than two inches of foam. It is hard to find mini crib bedding that is cute, and in the end i just got some regular bedding and sewed it smaller. This is a wonderful crib, and i love that it converts to a twin size bed!

I found the bed to be excellent. I have been in home daycare for 25 years and have wanted a mini crib and the 5" mattress for years so I was very pleased to find this product.
