Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

Great looks, but the directions are not too clear, and some holes were drilled incorrectly, but for the price it was worth it.

The changing table is a great addition to our nursery and matches the crib. This site offered not only the lowest price, but shipping was free as well (as high as $99 from other sites). It was delivered quickly and with no damage.
