About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

The best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Founded in 1990 by Daniel Fong, DaVinci was built upon the belief that they could provide the best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Over the years, collections, such as the Jenny Lind, have become known in the industry for being the “Best” of its kind. To this day the quality of their baby furniture is unmatched by competitors. Throughout the years, the demand for cribs and their functionality has continued to evolve. What was once a demand for simple cribs with single drop sides has changed to stylish cribs in dramatic colors that convert not only to toddler beds but also to full size beds. It was this demand that gave birth to the Emily Collection, the first of DaVinci’s convertible crib collections. Through DaVinci’s history, they continue to listen to the needs of the consumer and do their very best to provide the products, quality and functionality that is required.

Comments about DaVinci Roxanne 3-in-1 Convertible Crib in Espresso:
I purchased the crib and the changing table. Love the look--hard to find others in espresso color. The drawer isn't the most durable thing, but I use for extra blankets/sheets, so it isn't like I am in it every day. The quality is equal to the price. Overall I am very pleased. We have been using it for 4 months now. Assembly was a little challenging, but not impossible.

This crib is so cute. The finish is beautiful. Was a bit confussing to put together and drawer is flimsy, but overall very happy with crib in general. There was not a single scratch on it. Very pleased.

Comments about DaVinci Roxanne 3-in-1 Convertible Crib in Espresso:
Good looking crib, but VERY HARD to assemble. Some screws didn't fit. I can't get the screws into the top AT ALL!!!! You have to try to blind screw them in, so if they don't match up, WHAT ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO DO? Also the cam locks on the pieces in the Da Vinci set are poorly made. They don't lock properly, and are such soft metal, they strip EASILY!

Comments about DaVinci Roxanne 3-in-1 Convertible Crib in Espresso:
I was skeptical in purchasing this crib online without seeing it in person, but I was not at all disappointed! You do get what you pay for - this is not a super high quality crib, but it is what I expected for what I paid. This crib is hansome, sturdy, easy to assemble, and most of all safe for our first baby boy.
