About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

The best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Founded in 1990 by Daniel Fong, DaVinci was built upon the belief that they could provide the best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Over the years, collections, such as the Jenny Lind, have become known in the industry for being the “Best” of its kind. To this day the quality of their baby furniture is unmatched by competitors. Throughout the years, the demand for cribs and their functionality has continued to evolve. What was once a demand for simple cribs with single drop sides has changed to stylish cribs in dramatic colors that convert not only to toddler beds but also to full size beds. It was this demand that gave birth to the Emily Collection, the first of DaVinci’s convertible crib collections. Through DaVinci’s history, they continue to listen to the needs of the consumer and do their very best to provide the products, quality and functionality that is required.

Comments about DaVinci Chloe Rocking Cradle in Ebony Black:
This is a great looking cradle. The mattress pad is thin, so I bought another 2 inch think one to put on top from [...] for $14. The only other complaint is that there aren't screw caps to cover the gold screws - but not a big deal, just a cosmetic complaint. The cradle is large, which works well for my long baby, however, if you're tight ion space, this might not be the best fit for you. After searching online, this website had the best deal.

Comments about DaVinci Chloe Rocking Cradle in Ebony Black:
This cradle is really lovely for the value. I'm a grandma and had to put it in my living room -- and it looks charming by the fireplace. I might even keep it there after the baby grows out of it. I was thrilled with it. I would not hesitate to recommend it. I did buy a new mattress that was thicker and organic, but that is my personal preference (and might be for many grandparents -- or if parents are going to use the cradle for daily use).
