About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

My newborns have not used their cribs yet, but they look beautiful! The white is so pure & exactly what we had hoped for our little girls room. My brother-in-law put both cribs together on his own in one afternoon. They are quite sturdy. We purchased this for our 3 month old grandbaby as he was ready to transfer from his bassinet. We had researched to find a crib that is not only sturdy but also safe for our precious little guy. We finallly decided on the Da Vinci name brand based on its reputation and safety reviews. The crib is very sturdy and brightens up the room. It is very economical to purchase this item as it can be converted into a toddler bed and then finally into a full bed when the child is ready. These features truly make this crib well worth the money. We did have some trouble setting up the crib, but we used the picture on the box and that went well. We are very pleased with our purchase and the baby is very comfortable with his new setting.

I looked all over for the perfect white crib/ changing set and couldn't be happier with our choice! My husband was able to easily assemble it and it looks beautiful in the nursery! The crib [...] has an excellent top enamel coat of paint making it difficult to scratch. We were impressed with the quality of the wood and the overall look.[...] I have no complaints with our purchase! I would recommend this crib to anyone who is looking for a well made crib at a reasonable price!
