About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

The best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Founded in 1990 by Daniel Fong, DaVinci was built upon the belief that they could provide the best quality nursery furniture at the best price. Over the years, collections, such as the Jenny Lind, have become known in the industry for being the “Best” of its kind. To this day the quality of their baby furniture is unmatched by competitors. Throughout the years, the demand for cribs and their functionality has continued to evolve. What was once a demand for simple cribs with single drop sides has changed to stylish cribs in dramatic colors that convert not only to toddler beds but also to full size beds. It was this demand that gave birth to the Emily Collection, the first of DaVinci’s convertible crib collections. Through DaVinci’s history, they continue to listen to the needs of the consumer and do their very best to provide the products, quality and functionality that is required.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changer in Oak:
I bought this changer to go with my DaVinci Emily Crib in Honey Oak. They do not match AT ALL. I emailed the manufacturer to let them know I was disappointed about this, and here is what they said:"Thank you for choosing Million Dollar Baby furniture. We are very sorry but the retail store should have informed you the Parker Collection has its own finish and is not compatible with any other collection. We are very sorry but it’s not a manufacture defect."If you are buying this to go with anything but the DaVinci Parker collection, be aware it probably won't match (even if they are both the same color).

Comments about DaVinci Parker 2-Door Changer in Oak:
It could not be put together by only one person.\nSome of the wood was split and had to be glued back together.\nI was most disappointed with the top of changer: It is not solid wood and it is very thin (about 1/4in thick). I'm nervous it won't support the weight of a child more than 20 lbs. I definitely will not let my daughter stand on it for any amount of time. In my opinion this should be a thicker, sturdier solid piece of wood like other changers in this price range. After all it is the part you lay your child on.\nI can still use the changer for storage after my daughter doesn't need the changer part, but I won't be able to set anything heavy on top of it like a small tv or books.
