About New Zealand Radiata Pine Wood:
Radiata Pine, better known as 'New Zealand Pine' is a softwood tree that contains many properties that make it very suitable for furniture and furniture making. It has a density equal to that of hardwoods like poplar, mahogany and oak. Its uniform density ensures a smooth and consistent texture and confers its excellent machining, painting and staining properties; there is almost no variation in color between pieces. DaVinci's pine wood originates from forests maintained by managers that enforce environmental responsibility and the conservation of forest wildlife.

I bought this crib for my baby boy and love it. Very good quality, sturdy and nice looking. Was easy to assemble. I like that it converts to toddler bed later, so you can save money. The only con is that it scratches easily. Also, I would recommend to buy and install teething rail.

We haven't used the crib yet, as our baby isn't here. The quality of the crib is great. Nice wood and very sturdy. I did a LOT of research before choosing this crib and was happy with the price with csnbaby.

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Oak:
I was very happy with this crib. Being so large I was afraid it would be damaged when it arrived. The box was a bit beaten up but when I opened it, I was very happy to see that it was extremely well packaged. It did not have one nick on it. I am 6 months pregnant and I put it together quite easily with the assistance of my 12 year old son. The color shown on the website matches what I received perfectly. Also this crib after assembling is the sturdiest crib I have ever seen. I also like the way it doesn't have the slotted jail cell feel like many other cribs have. The only thing is my mobile won't attach but I feel like, since this wide slotted crib is getting so popular, they need to start manufacturing mobiles that can attach to this style of crib. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase, and if I need another one down the line, I will be back to shop the Da Vinci line of cribs again!

The color is beautiful. [...] My husband put it together by himself in about an hour and a half. Great product for the money!

Comments about DaVinci Parker 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Oak:
Very nice looking crib. Assembly wasn't too difficult, my husband and I did it together and it took us about 1 1/2-2 hours (going at a nice leisurely pace, could have done it faster if we were in a hurry). Be aware that the coating on the crib damages very easily. Have seen other comments where people say the wood damages, but it is really the coating they used to color the wood that gets damaged easily. So down the road one could probably strip the wood and restain and it would be fine. If you are gentle with the pieces the damage is minimal, but expect to get a couple nicks during the assembly process. Overall is very sturdy and like that I will easily be able to bend over the crib and pick up my baby without having to raise and lower the side rail. One issue I also found is that where you would normally tie your bumper on the back is right where there is an extra wide slat so we have our safety pinned on the back for now. We are still trying to figure out how to set up our crib mobile since it will not fit onto the crib itself.
Service and delivery comments:
All pieces arrived with no damage, but be aware that the company may say you are getting everything on a certain day and you really aren't. For some reason when one item gets shipped the company tells you everything is coming and it really isn't so it's kind of a surprise as to what arrives. Make sure to check all pieces when they arrive to make sure nothing is missing or damaged.
