The only downside to this product is the area where the back and the seat attach to one another. You need to use two hands to carry the booster otherwise they separate. And as a parent who travels a lot with my children and their car seats, I need all the hands I can get. Would love for there to be a fastening element to this booster, so you can take the back apart from the seat (booster) or use as one. Other than that, love the safety write-ups, fits my son perfectly where it is supposed to, is lightweight and simple looking. I would recommend this to a friend.

now my son is 4yr and40lbs, so i purchased this car seat to keep at the grandparents house, so i would not have to bring my heavy, bulky convertible seat(which i love,britax boulevard) on the plane and risk damage to it. after researching many safety reviews online this was my conclusion and i was very happy with the product. we had rented a car and cosco booster at an airport a few weeks prior and it was horrible compared to the kobuk. kobuk is sturdy, the seat belt hits his shoulder and lap in the perfect spots, wings around the head, he loves the fact that is has a cup holder and that it is his "big boy" seat. extremely easy to move in/out of the vehicle. it will also convert to a backless booster which is nice too. thumbs up!!
