Modern Mobility, Modern Parenting, Modern World. The Bugaboo Stroller increases freedom of movement and makes mobility flexible, simple and light with functional and innovative products. A Bugaboo product distinguishes itself through integrated functionality, streamlined design, and intuitive handling. Max Barenbrug, a design student from The Netherlands, wanted to design a functional stroller for use in the city as well as for leisure activities with a focus on parents, appealing to both mothers and fathers. When he went to sell his new idea, most manufacturers considered his design unviable, and too revolutionary. Nevertheless, Barenburg decided to manufacture his design by himself, and in 1999, the Bugaboo Stroller made its debut on the streets of Holland.
A new Bugaboo product brings something new to the market though innovation that makes a difference. Bugaboo has created three distinctive models, the Gecko and the Cameleon, and the Bee. All three strollers have the same innovative functions, yet they are tailored in different colored fabrics so you can make each Bugaboo distinctively your own. Bugaboo has also created an abundance of accessories for their pioneering strollers. These accessories include their signature Footmuff, Parasol, Diaper Bag, Wheel Board, and Transport Bag. These accessories offer simple solutions to complex problems, and revive the benefits of innovative materials. More on Bugaboo...

Comments about Bugaboo Stroller Parasol:
It does the job. I would venture to say that as a Bugaboo parasol, it's perfectly designed. However, parasols by nature are not perfect. They must constantly be adjusted because the sun does not always hit the stroller at the same spot. It is not big enough to always cover the whole stroller all of the time - but if it were, then it would be too bulky. This parasol is good in that it is not too big, it clips onto any of the foam parts of the stroller, and it is adjustable. It is a bit of a pain to remember to pack it with the stroller b/c it's hard to fit the stroller in the trunk with the parasol attached. But for what it is, and if you have realistic expectations for what a parasol can be, I would recommend it. It does cover my baby from the sun when the canopy isn't enough, or sometimes I'll retract the canopy and use the parasol by itself, since the canopy can get hot. If you're willing to deal with some of the inconveniences of the Bugaboo stroller (like the fact that it folds in two pieces), then what's one more to add to the list? The stroller is great and this parasol adds to the features that make it great.
